His images reflect the use of natural lighting and principles of art.  Shannon uses photo-journalistic techniques – does not want to interfere with the moment so that the image captures the honesty.

Mood, light, form, honesty, fantasy, play, beauty.  These are the elements that Shannon sees, mixes, matches and balances at “the decisive moment” when he clicks his camera.  For over twenty years, this has been him, his drive, inspiration, passion and who he is as a photographer.
Shannon has photographed many people, places and things through the years from magazine and CD covers, rock stars and movie stars, diamond rings and door knobs, to babies and Bar Mitzvahs and then some, as everything is a timeless image to him. Shannon's true passion comes alive when he is working with everyday people, those Brides and Grooms that have planned and planned sometimes for over a year to create their exceptional moments; His true passion comes alive when he is the one to capture the unique images for their  lifetime.
